Well it was a good week of ham radio for me, that’s for sure.
- Worked K3HWJ for the special event station for Groundhog Day.
- Worked K5C, the special event station for the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. 🙁 I remember precisely where I was at that moment.
- Worked Italy on phone
- Poland on FT8!
- Three stations in Japan on FT8!
- Worked one of my favorite YouTubers on 40 phone.
I also got to send out several QSL cards. I think I’m down to 470 left to send in this batch of printing!
One thing I got done this week was Logbook of the World setup. What a pain! They really need to fix that process. I tweeted about and wow, talk about touching a nerve! The postcard finally arrived and I got it setup. The main thing for me was getting it going with N3FJP.
When I work FT8, it logs from Gridtracker to N3FJP, which auto uploads to LotW. From there, I can import to QRZ periodically. Too complicated?
Until next week!
